Dr. Dawn Ericsson
Chief Medical Director, Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist
In 2015, Dr. Ericsson was voted Tampa's Best Obstetrician/Gynecologist. She attended Yale University in Connecticut, where she completed premedical requirements and earned her bachelor's degree in History of Science and Medicine before earning her medical degree from the State University of New York. Dr. Ericsson completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Barnabas Medical Center, where she was the program's first female African American graduate.
Dr. Ericsson brings experience as a Pharmacy Technician and as a Medical Diagnostics Market Research Analyst to her practice. She is a Board-Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN. She holds membership in the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Hillsborough County Medical Association, Medical Society of the State of New York, Bay Area Medical Association, and the Student National Medical Association.
Clinical focus
Dr. Ericsson's clinical focus spans functional medicine, hormone replacement therapy, menopause management, women's health, and longevity medicine. At AARx, she leads a multi-location team dedicated to identifying root causes rather than masking symptoms. Her approach combines advanced diagnostics with bioidentical hormone protocols, peptide therapy, and personalized wellness plans. As Chief Medical Director, she sets the clinical standard for the provider team she oversees across AARx's locations.
